Thoughts Visited...

Fun to Fantasy,a MANIAC of thoughts...its my JOURNEY!!!

The day I received Gold Medal…

It’s a renowned cliché to share one’s achievements with others (well wishers).

And it was the day when I received Gold Medal for topping our branch in college.
I rather view it in other way…for the effort in tapping the positive energy in and around me.

I know many things happen when you are in college. Its all about your choice how you cook the things by the end.  You can make things fun/filthy/fabulous. You can stand out of the crowd; keep yourself distinct from others (taken an opportunity to be famous or notorious). But, my stress is on your VISION, your SATISFACTION, your ability to THINK FAR, sometimes BEYOND THE VOID and STAY FOCUSSED!!

I know you end up labeling me as studious. But, I pity you…because of your stupidity at accepting the things richer in practicality. What is the so-called practicality? Well, every student has some personal objectives. Some lucky people identify them. And realize them, by keeping themselves in solitude at sub-conscious on one hand .As they cannot move away from their friends who make their day filled with joy/fun on the other hand. In other words it’s the ability to “Streamline” things at your chore. This sounds to be being selfish. In practical you are showing how you can be the one while being part of many.

The bottom line is ….”You either make others achieve or do for the self”!!
When you are good for nothing. What for are you here? It makes no point. Let me not make it more philosophical. I know its boring though beneficial.

I’m pleased as I have succeeded at both. Let me share with you that…..
1. I have given enough inputs to my friend(M.Srilakshmi) in setting up a dream as high as
being an IIMian and who later on realized her dream with her own persistence.
    I appreciate her diligence.[Srilakshmi, I hope you’ll not deny this !?]
2. Of recent(of late) I succeeded in transforming myself from an individual to an
institution with only one VISION in mind toiling for it most of my time. I shall
disclose what it is on one fine day much sooner!!

Well, the Gold Medal I got -- though is a token of my achievement, I perceive it more as that of  my stay in the college sharing my thoughts/aspirations/gossips/goals/interests/fun and many more with my friends. Its good they have given but its petty as they done it by considering the numerical percentage as metric which I rate as unimportant/least bothered about when you have enough stuff; good at the subject you are interested in.

So, this infact belongs to all those who are pretty good at their subjects of interest. Again, those that help you mould the self for improving the society. Particularly, in uplifting the life style of a common man!!

Point to be mentioned:
Its not that easy to get a Gold Medal when you aim at percentage. But is...when you drive your thirst for acquiring the  knowledge and applying it.
To reiterate, its easy if you have an objective to drill down into the subject you are given !!

India Today says....

All of us have heard about the two Indias that exist in a single country. India and Bharat.
India is what drives the country’s high economic growth, but it is Bharat where most of the country lives. It is often believed that the bustling metro is dragged down by the backward village.

At one level this is true – particularly across social sectors like illiteracy and infant mortality. Yet these days what most of India doesn’t know is that the Bharat they rarely pay attention to, is being transformed as dramatically as the metros. Change in India these days does not merely mean the growth of malls. Its deepest impact is felt on a section of the population whose livelihood is linked to the land, whose lives depend entirely on nature and whose news usually centres on natural disasters like floods, famines and drought.

Much of the Indian village today does not look like it did a few decades ago, full of cracked earth and farmers in ragged clothes. The panchayat sarpanch carries a mobile, farmers head to work on mopeds and their children are sent abroad to study. If Kalahandi 25 years ago was once a symbol of starvation, today it is a place where there are 150 rice mills and locals run a cottage industry that manufactures washing powder. Across India, villages are growing and changing in varying degrees. In some cases, the change to innovative farming techniques like switching crops or taking up improved irrigation has given farmers a chance to alter centuries-old economic cycles.

In other cases, the use of new technology has played a key role: for example in Bardhaman in West Bengal, the only district in India to have connected every panchayat by the Internet. Or Anksapur in Andhra Pradesh, where water harvesting improved the groundwater table and farmers got a chance to buy 1,500 acres from neighbouring village for profitable cultivation. Villages have benefited from easy access to finace, the ncreasing price of rural land and social welfare schemes that increase the job opportunities and keep youth involved in the villages they grew up in. This is not to say taht poverty does not exist in rural heartlands of India but there are great changes afoot which are transforming rural lifestyles. Nevertheless, they still remain dependent on the unpredictability of nature itself.

Yet, what we are seeing is an astonishing empowerment of India’s villages due to the business of economics and the most simple of sciences in places we have never heard of: like Fatehpura-Pilvai in Gujarat, Theni in Tamilnadu or Dhekalgaon in Madhya Pradesh.

I strongly believe India’s salvation lies in modernizing its agriculture and finding employment for those who move away from the land as a result. The changing face of rural India is a welcome sign that this is happening although it still has a long way to go…before which we need a CORRECTED India and not a CORRUPTED India!!

A Boulevard of Broken Heart

From the bus stop I manage to reach home within 5 min. That for a normal pacer takes around 15min. Today, it took 35 min for me….WHY?

As I was passing by down the lane…I could hear a conversation of a father with his son.
Well, I used to spend a few minutes walking along with my dad and discuss some worldly things/ state of affairs almost every day till my XII std. So, is my natural interest in what that 58 yr old man is speaking to a 8 to 10 yr old boy.

“orai Kishna iyyala ee golilu yesuko. Rethri nayanamma,... eti..12 gantalki leputadhi appuduu yindulo unna gulabi rangu goleelu yesukovali…sarenaa….inka nayanamma ki septa …eti sarena…
Allage…ayyya nuvvu yeppudu othhavu(he is calling ayya but both looked like thatha and manavadu)
Othha leraa…antavaraku maana kunda ee golile yesukovaley…sarenaa…eti…
Sareee…
Iyyala pani sethhe ee mandulu konagalgina kadaa....
neeku inka nayanamma ki malli konale ….anduke repu ooru eltannara….akkada yittanalu jallithe dabbu ithharanta…alage..kodigga kuli pani kuda vuntadani gopi gadu cheppadu.
Kasta dabbu  sesukoni asta ra….

Ayyya…ee golilu yeskunte taggutada….nenu school ki povachha…
Repu ellevu ellaku roi….taggaka yeldu…

Ayya toraga achheyi….

Ayya allage…nenu school ki potanayya…
Tagginaka yeldu lera….aada mastaremma….dabbulu gurinchi adigithe….ayya osatdu ani seppu…eti sarenaa…

Allage ayya….toraga ottavu ga….”

Oh my God! I don’t want to hear anymore their conversation. I straight away interrupted and asked him….
“babu mee peru enti….”
“ramanayya …yendukamma”…
“ramanayya….em ledu…nuvvu matladedi vinna.chala kashtallo vunnatu vunnavu… Ekkkada mee illu….”
“avunamma…rekka aadithe gaani dokka aadani parithithamma naadi”
“maa yillu chana dooram lemma…..inka lopadiki….ikkada aasupatri savaka vuntadi ani gopigadu seppedu ….andukani eediki susthi sesthe tolkochhina….”
“avuna…nuvvu ye ooru veltunnavu vithanalu jalladaniki?”
“silukru potanu…aada nunchi Gopi gadu othadu….teliyadamma”
“akkada pani cheste niku enta dabbu istaru…”
“teliyadamma...aa gopigadu baaney ittaru ra…nee mandula ki aati ki vattadi le ante potanna…roju  ki 100 ittaremo ani Gopi gadu annadu.”

It really hurts me. I pulled out some money from my bag to help that man. As I could find the zeal in Krishna’s (his son “Kishna’s”) words to go to school the next day inspite of his fever…seems kind of typhoid.

“sare…mari …ee rendu vandalu  vunchu ippatiki…”
“yenduku thalli…manchi daanivi…addamma”
“ye enduku ramanayya…”
“naku oorike addamma…dabbulu…pani sesukoni techhukunta….
Ye papam sethhe ila vundo naa bathuku…oorike addamma….”

“ippudunna daaniki…nenu inta kanna saayam cheyyalenu…pani ippinchalenu…”

“ayyo…manchi daanivi thalli…addamma…nenu potha…dannalu”

He has taken left turn….I‘ve taken my straight path say a “Boulevard of Broken Heart”!!
Be it self-respect/self-discipline/self-esteem….I have no words to describe….he has reminded me the scenes I watch as my favorites in good old telugu (ANRs/NTRs) movies.

But, I don’t know….situation comes like this…in my real life…I have never given thought to charities such kind of. But I do have an impression that India has only a few drops of donations(monetary) in a bowl of needs(monetary).

Now, given a thought India needs donations(oppurtunities) for those poor people to survive their living with the same self-respect as we all are doing ours…

Yes, there is no great help than showing an opportunity to such kind of people who live on one line of life “rekka aadithe gaani dokka aadadu” !!.....

I walk a lonely road
The only one that I have ever known
I know where it goes
But not today as my pace(peace) is gone...

I walk this empty street
On the Boulevard of Broken Heart....

Lets buzz on MOVIES - Episode1

Well, its not that easy to go with the reviews of all the movies at a time that I’ve watched till now . So, let me start scribbling some thing as and when I feel the real moments of cherishing the good of the movie.
I would start in a classic way --“episodic series”.

Here goes the first one…..

27 Dresses:

I never knew the West side directors could really picture such a sensitive, romantic, emotional movie in much a simpler way. The story line is excellent and the screen play is really brought well.

I wonder, I’ve watched the movie more than five times and never felt bored. Rather emotionally attached myself to the character “Jane”. She has done a great job. And Kevin Doyle, I should introduce him as an “expression in place”!! Together both doesn’t make a terribly good pair but definitely a decent ones.

Well, there is a good reason for the most liking of the movie by me. And

It’s the role of the hero-“Kevin Doyle”. He is a columnist of a newspaper dealing with a couple of articles on the merry-go round relationships of “Love-Wedding-Marriage” kind of. The story starts with Kevin observing Jane attending two weddings at a time a night and then with a short debate on wedding-- Kevin being the cynic for time being(some liners are good… like “Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is slowly losing your mind”) and Jane the supporter of weddings
(says her favourite part of wedding is “When the music starts and the bride gives her big entrance, everyone turns to look her and that’s when I look at the groom, the pure love there !!” --- sounds good).

Jane- a good character in the movie to watch out. Sensitive at heart, affectionate for her Mom, kind to her sis, responsible daughter, career-oriented and until much to the end loving her boss that she later realizes it as a crazy crush!!
The role of her sis “Tess” – though not much an adorable ones, the much flirtarious is given a good finishing by making her learn how things matter in the World as its just not a fantasy but Life is a reality. And then Jane’s boss “George” – looks like a real Entreprenuer, has done seriously well.

Jane being a bridesmaid for 27 times has a secret overwhelming wardrobe(27 dresses) that’s unrevealed by Kevin in his column for which Jane gets furious and so on...that later on,in the process finds her pure love for Kevin and ends up with her much awaited dream- A Wedding she doesn't want to be a bridesmaid anymore, and that is the 28th one of of... “HER OWN” with the so-called "cynic, angry marriage hater"!!

Perfection PERSONIFIED!!

Ever since I realized the self-MySelf, I have come to know that there is always a comparision or more eloquently say a reference for what we do.
Sometimes we compare and start working or work and start comparing….
Either way we require some standard/guide/reference/example to judge the pros and cons or the quality of our work. Well, coming to my case, the latter one better suits my nature. So, in the process I have come across the various standards or metrics but the one which is hidden or indirectly influencing all of my activities, my thoughts, goals, dreams is one.
The one and only one and that is “The way I have been brought up”. Even this is not the direct one. Recently in my routine self-introspection, I found something more, the underlying one behind all these---“A Person”. And he is
An Epitome of Perfection, a Blend of Naturality, a Visionary by Birth, an Exemplary through his Life, an Extra Ordinary in his Performance, an Exceptional in the Existence,
Meticulous by Nature, Level-headed in Judgement and above all a Great Thinker and born Role-model for the Generations forever.
And that is none other than my “Pedananna” ---
Shri Ganduri Venu Gopala Krishna Murthy”.

Its not an exaggeration saying-“Has it not been a day without spelling his name in our home.” Well, in the process of consolidating such an Exclusively Exceptional Leader in our entire family, though its evidential he is a perfectionist, I’ve dared to take other stride --- to look at him as critics as I don't want to give a chance to others to do so, which generally does when one praises others. And, believe me out of many things I’ve observed, very few or seldom are the mistakes I can find with him. Though we know clearly that they are out of(against) his conscience and due to some family pressures.
We do accept it and appreciate Him because “We as a Family is nothing but a society living under the same roof. And the Society by definition is always a paradox.”!!

Generally, if we achieve something great, we feel its all because of our dedicated efforts.
I’m not denying that. But, what I feel is, all our achievements or failures are more or less shaped by our elders’ power. The power can be anything. It can be their decision-making power, problem solving power, thinking power or their influencing power. It is this power in Him that made our entire family prosperous now. And I promise, it would be like this for future generations also as Pedananna,
”You have sown seeds that are recurrably reproducible years together”.

ENDARO MAHANU BHAVULU

I bet there is no good song than this in the entire Universe...forever.

Challenges Turn Boring Thou !!

Have you ever thought that challenges are boring ?!
For now, consider it as a myth I’ve created.

I wonder how code reviews are done so easily most of the times.
Whether it is the case of experienced or newbie, getting code review done is like a bottleneck. As the day to day requirements keep on changing, the responsibilities on the developer multiply as he has to care of existing reviewed code on one side and introduce new changes welcoming the advanced or upgraded technologies on the other hand. It sounds challenging if we go through such experience for limited number of times. What if the count touches umpteen that cannot be given a number? As obvious the answer, no doubt he will get frustrated. As, it becomes a routine ;)

Nevertheless companies so intelligently design a policy framework to keep such boredom off the shore. And the keyword they use is "JobRotation" that gives the stakeholder a new boredom if I'm not wrong[lol].But you have no option to deny it unless you are in that stream of the so-called "Managers".

Well, "Managers"-indeed a catchy word to use but difficult to goose up to in reality. Though not a tough job all the time as it is a clever boneless muscle that twists and turns as the situation demands. Inspite of all that, it does have a composed stature and should be given credit. I doubt the day to day challenges they face are not so boring though account a swirl. The bottom line is its(the boredom is) common in any job. At the same time the intensity may vary[:)].

But my bothering is why despite bannering myself as "Very Passionate about Technology" or rhetorically say "Techy-Geek", I get boredom? Here, the reason we derive does have some inter-related factors to be considered, but the major one shaped out like this.

Its not about the passion. Its about the profession. Yes, its true, atleast in my case. At the EOD all your skills, goals, dreams, vision and also your passion has to pass through the funnel of Profession though its a short-term or long-term stay in your journey of Career.
If passion drives profession you are on the bed of roses and no doubt in it!!

What if profession drives passion? I need not say, this writ reflects it[haha].And we do have the previlege to question why you have to continue with such a stay - "Profession". The answer is simple---“I NEED IT and I GOT IT”. But it doesn’t end there.

When it’s the time for me to say "I GOT IT, THEY NEED IT" then I'm at the pinnacle of my passionate end and outof the myth I’ve created that "Challenges are boring".Until then I have to nurture myself and teach myself that I have to grow moment to moment experiencing the real heat of society as there is no other go saying its the perfect way for everyone to workout.[aah..lot of jargon…I can’t help it !!]
